Summary of IDF activity overnight in the Gaza Strip
The IDF carried out two aerial attacks in Beit Hanun, in the northern Gaza Strip, targeting facilities that were used by terrorist organizations to store weaponry.
One facility was used by the Islamic Jihad terrorist organization and the other by the Fatah.
IDF operations are targeted exclusively at terrorist organizations and their infrastructure. The IDF makes all effort to avoid harming those not involved in terrorism and continues to warn them not to travel in combat areas.
The IDF will continue to use every operational means possible against terrorist organizations and terror infrastructure in order to create the conditions for the return of Cpl. Gilad Shalit, and to stop terror attacks and the launching of missiles towards Israel.
