Telephone poll of a representative sample of 499 adult Israeli Jews (not
including Arab Israelis) carried out by Dahaf for Yediot Ahronot on 21
September and published on 22 SEPTEMBER.

If you had to choose - who is most appropriate to be prime minister?

Two possibilities:
Netanyahu 52% Olmert 30% Neither 18%

Four possibilities:
Netanyahu 35% Olmert 22% Leiberman 18% Peretz 6%

Eight possibilities
Netanyahu 27% Leiberman 15% Livni 14% Peres 12%
Olmert 7% Mofaz 5% Barak 3% Peretz 1% None of them 14%

[IMRA: Minister of Justice Ramon opposed the appointment of Dorit Beinisch
to head the Supreme Court and also insisted that a protocol be kept of
meeting of the appointment committee. Thanks to the indictment Ramon was
replace by Shetreet and Dorit Beinisch was appointed - and this in a
committee meeting in which no protocol was kept of the meeting.]
