Tanzim terrorists involved in rocket launching attempts in West Bank killed
in Jenin

In a joint IDF and ISA operation last night, October 8th 2006, in Al Yamun,
north of Jenin, five Palestinian gunmen were killed and three wanted
Palestinians were arrested.

Two of the gunmen killed were part of the terrorist infrastructure working
to develop the ability to launch projectile rockets from the West Bank.

Taher Abed Al Rahman Muhammad Abahra, 29 and a resident of Al Yamun. A
member of the Tanzim, was involved in the past few months in the development
and production of projectile rockets, and took responsibility for two
attempts to launch rockets towards the Israeli community of Ram On.

Mahmud Rajah Zaki Abu Hassan, 28 and a resident of Al Yamun. A member of the
Tanzim, known for his involvement in the production of projectile rockets.

Among those killed is Salim Yusef Salim Said, 25, a wanted Tanzim member
from Al Yamun.

The three arrested are:
Ibarahim Mahmud Amin Nuhada, 30, wanted for his involvement in shooting
attacks against IDF forces.
Salim Ahmed Mahmud Uda, 22, wanted for his involvement in shooting attacks
against IDF forces.
Mohamad Yusef Salim Said, 26, a wanted Tanzim operative from Al Yamun.
