Interview: PLO New Agency - Understanding not specific on smuggling or
weapons production

IMRA contacted the Gaza Strip offices of WAFA, the PLO news agency, with
questions about the ceasefire, this morning.

A "news source" replied to IMRA's questions (in English):

Q: I have a question about the ceasefire.

A: Yes.

Q: Does this ceasefire include a halt to smuggling from Sinai and a halt to
the production of rockets inside the Gaza Strip?

A: They don't mention that. The smuggling. But I think they have to
respect it.

Q: What does that mean?

A: I don't know. The Israelis - they did not mention that.

Q: What about the factories inside the Gaza Strip. Are they supposed to
stop?

A: They are not factories. They are small workshops.

Q: So the small workshops. Are they supposed to stop assembling rockets or
they can continue?

A: They are private workshops.

Q: So they can continue assembling.

A: I don't know. Don't think so.

Q: Is the statement that was put out clear or it. . .

A: It did not mention that.

Q: What?

A: Did not mention that.

Q: It did not mention that.

A: Yes.
