Summary of events in the Gaza Strip today

Today Palestinian terrorists in the Gaza Strip launched 14 rockets into
Israel. In the past five days terrorists have launched over 120 rockets into
Israel.

Throughout the day the IDF attacked three terrorist targets in the Gaza
Strip:
· Two Hamas weapons-production facilities in the city of Gaza.
· A rocket launching cell which had just launched a rocket at Sderot.

Also, two IDF soldiers were lightly injured by an anti-tank missile fired at
an IDF engineering vehicle in the northern Gaza Strip. The two were
evacuated to a hospital for medical treatment.

The IDF will continue to operate against the terrorist organizations in
order to ensure the security and safety of the citizens of Israel.
