PMO spokesman David Baker to IMRA: Israel will take whatever measures
necessary to prevent smuggling into Gaza

Question: Would Israel cease all operations in Gaza if the Palestinians
stopped launching attacks from Gaza?

Prime Ministers Office spokesman David Baker: As long as there is terror
activity of any kind originating from the Gaza Strip Israel will use all
means at its disposal to prevent such terror from striking at Israeli
civilians.

Question: Is smuggling terror or terror is only attacks?

Baker: Israel demands an immediate cessation of smuggling and will take
whatever measures are necessary to prevent it.
