Border Police thwart stabbing near Cave of Patriarchs; none wounded

Border Police forces managed to peacefully thwart a terror attack in Hebron
on Friday afternoon.

A Palestinian approached several border policemen, drawing a knife from his
clothes when the troops called for him to halt. When the Palestinian tried
to stab the troops, one cocked his weapon while the others managed to subdue
him. No one was wounded on either side.

The Palestinian, a 16-year-old resident of Hebron, said he had come to carry
out a stabbing attack against troops positioned at the Cave of the
Patriarchs.
