The Green Succah In Safra Square

Jerusalem Municipality and the Ariel Municipal Company are erecting their
central Succah - the largest in the country - in Safra Square.

This year, inspired by the Green Revolution, it will contain an exhibition
of recycled material artifacts.

During the festival in the Green Succah: children's workshops, films on
environmental issues, Klezmer performances, cartoonists, drummer circles and
more.

The Green Succah opening ceremony will take place today, 12.10.2008 at 7
pm.
The Succah will be Open daily 10am-11pm; activities from 5pm.

Events timetable:
October 12, 7pm - Opening ceremony
October 14, 8:30pm - Hanan Avital and the Pirhei Yerushalayim Choir
October 15, 5pm - Reception, followed at 8:30pm by a Klezmer performance
October 16, 8:30pm - Boris & Friends (klezmers)
October 18, 8:30pm - Bernie & the Klezmers

All the activities in the Green Succah are open to the press.
