Suleiman Underlines the Necessity for Cooperation between the Syrian and
Lebanese Armies

Beirut,(SANA- Syrian news agency)- Lebanese President, Michel Suleiman ,has
underlined that the Lebanese army has something in common with the Syrian
army and this is represented by one ideology against the Israeli enemy , and
the necessity for the continuation of cooperation and coordination between
the two armies in the service of the two brotherly countries.

In his address to an event organized yesterday by General Commander of the
Lebanese Army , Lt.Gen. Jean Kahwaji. Suleiman added that the Syrian army
stood with the Lebanese army when the Lebanese army needed help.

He said that defending the homeland against the Israeli enemy should be the
priority of the Lebanese army through an understanding with the resistance.
