Following Report Concerning Weapons Cache in s. Lebanon

IDF Spokesperson Update

Following a report published in the Israeli daily newspaper, "Ha'aretz",
concerning the detonation of a weapons cache in southern Lebanon last week,
the IDF Spokesperson wishes to stress that the IDF did not pass intelligence
information to UNIFIL regarding the cache.

The IDF will continue to assist UNIFIL in implementing UN resolution 1701.
