IDF Condemns Vandalism of Palestinian Mosque

This morning, the Civil Administration received a complaint of vandalism of
a mosque in Kfar Yasuf, located southwest of Nablus. From an initial
investigation into the incident it appears that the suspects wrote
hate-filled messages in Hebrew in addition to burning bookshelves and a
carpet.

The head of the Civil Administration, Brig. Gen. Yoav (Poly) Mordechai spoke
personally with Moshel Salafit and other members of the Palestinian
Authority and conveyed that the IDF and security forces are working to
locate the perpetrators, that the Israel Defense Forces views the incident
gravely and that it will be dealt with accordingly by the Israeli law
enforcement agencies.
