Jordan King Abdullah: Even if Israel withdraws, local Arabs will be problem

In an exclusive interview in English by Jordan's King Abdullah II broadcast
on Israel Television tonight, the king explained that Israel should move now
to reach a comprehensive peace with the Arab world as demographic
developments are not in Israel's favor.

The king indicated that he expected the Israeli Arab population to increase
so that Israel would have a problem even if it withdraws to the '67 line.

The official Jordan news agency, Petra, told IMRA this evening that the King's
office did not make available a copy of the transcript of the interview
today to Petra for release.
