Beirut, (SANA - Syrian news agency)- Secretary General of Hezbollah Sayyed
Hassan Nasrallah said on Friday al-Quds Day is a day to reiterate the
principles to the world, affirming that the challenges and difficulties will
not change any of those principles which stress that Palestine is the right
of the Palestinians and no one has the right to give up a single grain of
its soil.

In his televised speech broadcast on the Lebanese al-Manar satellite channel
marking the International al-Quds (Jerusalem) Day, an annual Palestine
solidarity day on the last Friday of Ramadan, Nasrallah said this is a day
to shed light on what Jerusalem is undergoing under the Israeli practices of
Judaization, expelling of Palestinians and confiscation of land and
properties.

"Israel is an illegitimate entity that was based in the first place on
usurpation, killing and genocides, and its existence on the Palestinian land
doesn't grant it legitimacy," Nasrallah added.

He said that the axis of rejection and resistance succeeded over the past
few years in achieving a major historic accomplishment on the region's level
which has an impact on the whole world.

''The steadfastness of the Palestinians, Syria, Iran and the Iraqi people
has been able to foil the US plot seeking to partition the region and
liquidate its resistance,'' Nasrallah added.

Negotiations born dead

Hezbollah Secretary General said the direct negotiations launched Thursday
in Washington between the Palestinians and Israelis were born dead and the
US and Israeli aims of these negotiations are clear.

He added that Palestine is the least concern for those negotiations which
are rejected by the majority of the Palestinian factions according to
opinion polls.

"The only result of negotiations with the Israeli enemy would be to give
more legitimacy to this illegitimate occupation," said Nasrallah.
