Rise in support of Benjamin Netanyahu Likud after the fire in Caramel.
Survey conducted by the Research Institute "Maagar" for Walla! News reveals
that if the election were held today, Netanyahu-led Likud would win 32
seats, an increase of five seats compared to previous elections.

Demonstrating public satisfaction with the functioning of the fire crisis
Netanyahu. Netanyahu gets 78 points out of 100 possible - very high grade of
satisfaction in relation to the Israeli public of its leaders. It seems that
the public appreciate the rapid response crisis Netanyahu's own public
relations offensive in recent days has achieved its goal.

weakening of the party he heads. Shas down from 11 seats in the current

Another question dealt with fear of possible consequences of an attack in
Iran following the lessons of the fatal fire in Caraml. 43% of Israelis said
they worry more now because of an attack in Iran, only 7% said that they are
less concerned and safer.

On the question of if, in light of the massive fire, it appears that Israel
learned from the Second Lebanon War, 48% replied no and 24% yes with 28% not
knowing.

"This is not ashamed to get help," Netanyahu said after turning to the world
countries to help putting out the fire in the Carmel, and the plurality of
the public, 39% agree with the prime minister, compared with 21% who think
that Israel actually was shamed (50% among right wing voters) while 40%
didn't know.

Survey Information

The survey was conducted by telephone, by the Research Institute "Maagar
Mochot" headed by Professor Yitzhak Katz, on 5.12.10, a probability sample
of 502 respondents, representing the Israeli adult population (ages 18 and
over). The maximum sampling error is 4.5%.
