Jordan denies entry of weapons, fighters from its territory to Syria

Amman, March 24 (Petra) -- Jordan on Thursday denied as baseless, reports
that fighters and vehicles loaded with weapons entered Syria from inside
Jordanian territory.

State Minister for Media Affairs and Communication, Taher Al Adwan said such
reports are nothing but media allegations that will not affect the good
relations between the two countries.

He added that Jordan is keen on Syria's security and stability, referring to
a recent phone call between His Majesty King Abdullah II and Syrian
President Bashar Al Assad.
