QUNEITRA, (SANA) – Two Arab citizens were martyred and 116 others were
wounded in the Israeli occupation forces attacks on citizens on Sunday
marking al-Nakba Day in Ein al-Tineh in Quneitra province and Majdal Shams
in the Occupied Syrian Golan.

Director of Martyr Mamdouh Abaza Hospital in Quneitra, Ali Kana'an, said the
two martyrs, Ahmad al-Madani and Bashar Ali al-Shehabi from al-Yarmouk Camp
in Damascus, were already dead when they reached the hospital as they were
injured from live fire.

Kana'an pointed out that al-Madani, 18 years old, was martyred due to a
gunshot in the heart, and that al-Shehabi, who is in his forties, was shot
in the face.

Kana'an added that the hospital received also 32 injured people by Israeli
fire suffering critical and medium level injuries, 5 of them are in a
critical situation and 8 others in operation rooms.

He said that 84 citizens suffered suffocation after the Israeli forces fired
tear gas at the citizens, noting that the hospital is still receiving
injuries.

A festival was held earlier on the day in Ein al-Tineh area commemorating
al-Nakba Day.

The participants denounced the Israeli occupation's racial policies,
stressing the necessity of ending occupation and adhering to the Palestinian
refugees' right to return home.
