4,975 trucks containing 118,651 tons of supplies entered the Gaza Strip in
June

The Israeli government, in conjunction with the IDF, coordinates the
delivery of humanitarian aid and development assistance to the civilian
population of the Gaza Strip.

4,795 trucks containing 118,651 tons of food, fuel and other supplies,
including construction materials, entered the Gaza Strip in June 2011.

Here is a breakdown of some the supplies that entered Gaza in June:

1,475 truckloads of food; 1,038 truckloads of construction materials; 155
truckloads of electric products, 86 truckloads of agricultural inputs; eight
truckloads of textiles; 2,782 tons of cooking gas; and 184 vehicles.

3,894 permits were issued to Palestinians allowing them to pass through the
Erez border crossing in June. 1,634 travel permits were issued for medical
cases enabling patients to receive medical treatment in Israel, the West
Bank and overseas.

33 new projects of international organizations in Gaza were approved in June
including construction of new schools; renovation of existing schools;
building of new housing units; road projects; and agricultural assistance.

866 truckloads of materials and equipment entered Gaza in June for use in 39
international projects that are under implementation.
