PM Netanyahu Appoints Committee to Advance the Natural Gas Sector in Israel

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu today (Sunday), 19.2.12, appointed Prime
Minister's Office Director-General Harel Locker to chair a committee on
advancing the natural gas sector in Israel as a growth engine for the
economy. The committee will also deal with geo-political aspects of the
industry, including exports to east Asia and promoting economic ties with
various countries around the world. The committee will also work advance
the supply of natural gas to the electricity sector, integrate natural gas
in industry and create new industries based on natural gas.
