Tehran, May 19, IRNA – Minister of Defense Brigadier General Ahmad Vahidi
said the imminent launching of Fajr satellite indicates Iran’s authority and
high scientific potential.

In an exclusive interview with IRNA on Saturday, he said May 23 is fixed as
date of the satellite’s launching.

The minister stressed that despite all sanctions and pressures, Iran is
carrying on with its plans.

He said enemies who have planned the sanctions are only damaging their own
interests and losing opportunities by doing so.
