Beirut, Nov 20, IRNA – Hezbollah Chief Seyyed Hassan Nasrallah said here
Monday Iran, Syria and Hezbollah would never leave Gaza alone, as we have
been with them during these years, and we will keep on paving the same path,
as a religious, national, and humanitarian duty.

According to IRNA from Beirut, Hezbollah Secretary General Nasrallah made
the comment speaking at a southern district of Beirut in a ceremony making
the martyrdom of the 3rd Shi’a Imam Hussain ibn-Ali (P), praising the brave
Islamic resistance of the people of Gaza who are encountering the brutal and
barbarian invasion of the racist-Zionists.

Seyyed Hassan Nasrallah added, “The resistance forces by remaining firm over
their legitimate demands have placed Israel in a position to pursue the
objective of enforcing a ceasefire and returning to the status before their
state sponsored terror of the late Ezzeddin Qassam Brigade Commander Martyr
Ahmad al-Jaabari, which is of course rejected by the resistance force.”

He added, “Israel has thus far the hit entire targets that it could have in
Gaza and targeted some of them for the second, or third time, and yet the
rockets that are shot from that city are aimed at targets in depth of that
occupier regime’s entity.”

The Hezbollah secretary general posed the question: Which are the options
before the Zionist regime today? Reiterating, “This criminal regime has
acted exactly as its nature urges it to do, pounding the civilians vastly
with a shower of heavy missiles, clearly aimed at mass murder of a large
number of defenseless women, children, and othr innocent citizens.”

He added, “This proves that Israel has failed in materializing its military
objectives and the defeated Zionists are in a way in need of increasing the
number of casualties so that the resistance would abandon its demands.”

Referring to the experience of Gaza in the year 2008 and the experience of
Lebanon, Nasrallah said, “But today, both the resistance movement and its
leaders have passed thru that stage when Israel was capable of massacring
the innocent women and children on the one hand and imposing pressure by the
other counties on the other hand.”

He criticized the sands adopted by the Arab countries, called the recent
declaration of the Arab League ministers “a duplicate copy of their
declaration in the year 2008”, arguing, “The only new point in their closing
ceremony was inviting the world countries not to naturalize their relations
with Israel!”

Hezbollah secretary general expressed hope that the Arab League sessions
would be more meaningful from now on, adding, “The Arab League must urge the
Arabic Peace Committee to review the Arab countries’ stands on peace issue.”

He added, “It is necessary that the Arab League would support Gaza and
forward weapons for the Gaza people, not to play the role of the mediator
and agent of the Israeli usurper regime.”

Nasrallah added, “As it is clear from the evidence, the interests of the
Arab League are at the level of the interests of the Red Crescent, devoid of
any political will and existence, or should we say the Arab League’s
interests are the same as the interests of those who carry the dead
corpses.”

Noting that some Arab countries played roles in the inhumane siege of Gaza,
he added, “Now we should ask the question: How did such weapons, as the
anti-aircraft missiles reached Gaza, and by whom?”

The Hezbollah secretary general said, “The point worth pondering upon and
knowing today is who were the ones who gave Gaza the capability of standing
on its feet and to target and hit Tel Aviv and Jerusalem, destroying Israel’s
vital facilities?”

He reiterated, “The role played by Iran and Syria in this respect must be
reviewed anew and it must be known that genuine Islam and being noble Arabs
can be proved when the Arab world countries would under such tense
conditions begin forwarding weapons to Gaza.”

The Lebanese Hezbollah chief said, “The Israelis have assumed that the
missiles of resistance have come to their end and the activities of
resistance would thus end, which makes it a religious must for the Arab and
Islamic countries to open their borders ad to forward more missiles for the
resistance in Gaza.”

He added, “The objective of Israel in invading Gaza this time has been
punishing Hamas that has been separated from the axis of
Iran-Syria-Hezbollah.”

Nasrallah said, “This is the real scene of campaign which necessitates for
everyone to stand and to remain side by side of each other, rubbing
shoulders tightly.”

Lebanese Hezbollah leader Seyyed Hassan Nasrallah said on Monday that Israel
had failed to achieve its objectives in its campaign of air strikes and
shelling in Gaza.

Israel launched an air campaign on Wednesday with the declared goal of
deterring Hamas, the Palestinian Islamist group that runs the Gaza Strip,
from launching rockets at its southern communities.

The Islamic resistance group Hezbollah is closely allied with non-Arab,
Shi'a Iran, which Israel accuses of supplying Hamas with Fajr-5 missiles
capable of reaching Tel Aviv or Jerusalem from Gaza.

Israel bombed dozens of targets in Gaza for a sixth day on Monday, while
Palestinian rockets are fired at Israel from the territory eased off.

Hezbollah fought Israel in a 34-day war in 2006 in which it fired at least
4,000 rockets towards Israel. At least 1,200 people in Lebanon, mostly
civilians, and 160 Israelis, mostly soldiers, were killed during that war.
