Maagar Poll after Ceasefire: 68%:22% Likud voters oppose accepting the
ceasefire

The survey was conducted by Maagar - Interdisciplinary Research and
Consulting Institute Ltd., managed by Professor Yitzhak Katz. It was
commissioned by Maariv and Makor Rishon owned by the same person) and
published on 23 November 2012 in Maariv and Makor Rishon .

Telephone survey of representative sample of 503 adult Israelis (including
Arabs). The survey was carried out 22 November, 2012 the day after the
ceasefire went into effect.
Statistical error +/- 4.5 percent.

Should Israel have accepted the ceasefire or continued the operation?
Accept 31% Continue 49% Don't know 20%
Among Likud voters: Accept 22% Continue 68%

[The question below is problematic - the true operative option was control
of the Philadelphi Corridor area - the question below is perceived as asking
about occupying the entire Gaza Strip.

If it turns out that there is no way to maintain quiet in the South without
a permanent presence of the IDF in the Gaza Strip would you support such a
presence?
