Egypt seizes fuel en route to Gaza tunnels

EL-ARISH, Egypt (Ma'an) -- Egyptian authorities on Monday seized diesel en
route to be smuggled into the Gaza Strip, a security source said.

Egyptian forces stopped a truck carrying 2,000 liters of fuel in Sinai's
el-Arish and arrested the driver.

The driver told police he planned to smuggle the fuel into Gaza through
tunnels in Rafah, an Egyptian security official told Ma'an.
