PM Stephen J. Harper will be an honor guest of KKL-JNF

Canadian PM will be a guest of The Keren Kayemet LeIsrael-Jewish National
Fund, at a gala event dedicated to him on Tuesday and on Wednesday at a
laying of cornerstone ceremony in the Hula Valley where a center will be
established in his name
Prime Minister of Canada, Mr. Stephen Joseph Harper and his wife will be
honorary of guests at a festive evening dinner which the KKL-JNF has
organized in honor of Mr. Harper’s work and friendship. The dinner will take
place on this upcoming Tuesday, January 21st, 2014 in the presence of Prime
Minister of Israel Mr. Benjamin Netanyahu and his wife, Ministers, KKL-JNF
World Chairman Mr. Efi Stenzler and his wife, KKL-JNF Board of Directors,
President of JNF Canada Mr. Josh Cooper, and members of the Canadian
delegation.
In addition, KKL-JNF will host a ceremony in honor of PM Harper on this
upcoming Wednesday, a laying of a cornerstone for the Visitor and Education
Center, which will bear his name.
Canadian PM, Stephen J. Harper, a great supporter of Israel and the KKL-JNF,
was an honor guest at the annual Negev Dinner event of JNF in Toronto.
There, PM Harper who has announced his intention to visit Israel and attend
the inauguration of the Visitor and Education Center in his name has landed
in Israel today.
Mr. Stephen J. Harper is a ‘true friend’ of the state of Israel and the
Jewish people and has always stood by them.
KKL-JNF World Chairman, Efi Stenzler announced a new and unique project
which will carry the name of the Canadian PM: an international Visitor and
Education Center at the KKL-JNF Hula Valley – one of KKL-JNF’s flagship
sites. The new visitor center, which will be name in honor of PM Harper,
will be funded by donations raised at the 2013 Negev Dinner held in Toronto.
The center is an enormous structure that will extend over approximately
4,000 square meters and will serve as an advanced and modern center for
those who come to the KKL-JNF Hula Valley. The KKL-JNF Hula Valley is among
the top five visited nature sites in Israel which attracts over 400,000
visitors a year.
The visit in KKL-JNF Hula Valley will take place on Wednesday, January 22nd
at 12:00 pm, where a laying of a cornerstone ceremony will take place in
honor of PM Harper’s friendship and support of Israel.
