The Entering of Construction Materials to the Gaza Strip

The Coordinator of Government Activities in the Territories Spokesman
announces that Defense Minister Moshe Ya'alon has approved and directed
Coordinator of Government Activities in the Territories Maj.-Gen. Eitan
Dangot on the entry of construction materials for UN projects and storm
damage restoration projects.

Maj.-Gen. Eitan Dangot spoke with senior officials in the Palestinian
Authority and the international community and informed them that about 1,000
tons of cement and building materials will enter the Gaza Strip for storm
damage restoration and other projects of UN agencies.

It should be emphasized that there is an expansion of the amount of
projects, which was approved several weeks ago, and which was suspended
after the detection of a terrorist tunnel.
