HEBRON (Ma'an) -- Palestinian Authority security services are set to carry
out large-scale security operations to target outlaws in Hebron, a statement
released Tuesday said.
PA security forces said that outlaws in the Hebron district have been
committing robberies, shootings, dealing weapons, drugs, and selling
Palestinian land to Israelis.
The statement called on residents to act with caution and avoid areas in
which security forces are operating, including staying away from rooftops
and windows.
Residents must not provide outlaws with places to hide or stay, the
statement added, without providing further details about when operations
will be launched and how long they would last.
On Oct. 16, PA security forces killed 25-year-old Bilal al-Rajabi in Hebron
during a raid to arrest wanted criminals.
The PA said at the time that it would investigate his death.
