TEHRAN (FNA)- Media reports disclosed that the Saudi spy agency has had vast
cooperation with the Mossad in the recent Israeli attack on the Syrian Golan
Heights that killed six members of the resistance movement and an Iranian
General.

On Sunday, an Israeli helicopter struck Quneitra in Syria's Golan Heights,
killing Iranian military advisor Brigadier General Mohammad Ali Allahdadi as
well as the son of slain Hezbollah top commander Imad Mughniyeh and 5 other
Hezbollah members.

"Large-scale cooperation between Israeli and Saudi intelligence bodies as
well as the terrorist groups in Syria has played a crucial role in
monitoring Hezbollah's movements in the Golan Heights," the Palestinian
publication Al-Manar reported.

The Saudi spy agency has cooperated the most with the Israeli spy agency,
said the report, and added, "Saudi Arabia has been providing Israel with
intelligence about the movements of the Syrian army and Hezbollah."

It noted that Takfiri terrorist groups, specially the Al-Qaeda wing in
Syria, Al-Nusra Front, have also helped Israel with the attack.

On Monday, Hezbollah issued a statement confirming the strike, saying its
forces had been martyred during an inspection mission in the Syrian town of
Quneitra.

Hezbollah stressed that it would give a crushing and rigid response to the
Israeli forces' Sunday attack.

"The attack against six Hezbollah members will have a painful and unexpected
response," the Hezbollah sources said.

Analysts believe the new Israeli assault is yet another attempt by Tel Aviv
to change the balance of war in favor of the Takfiri militants fighting
against Syria.

The Tel Aviv regime has carried out several airstrikes in Syria since the
start of the nearly four-year-old foreign-sponsored militancy there.

Damascus says Tel Aviv and its western allies are aiding the extremist
terror groups operating inside Syria since March 2011.

The Syrian army has repeatedly seized huge quantities of Israeli-made
weapons and advanced military equipment from the foreign-backed militants
inside the Arab state.
