Al Qassam website - Head of Hamas Political Bureau Khaled Mishaal is
expected to visit Saudi Arabia in response to an official invitation by the
new King Salman Bin Abdul-Aziz, according to Arab press sources.

Social media activists along with Arab pressmen including editor in chief of
the Qatari Sharq Newspaper Jaber al-Harami and the Egyptian journalist Ahmad
al-Sherqawi have been spreading the news on Twitter. However, no official
information has been declared by the Saudi Foreign Ministry in this regard.

In a similar context, the political analyst Hani al-Basous said in an
exclusive press statement to the PIC on Saturday, that there are many
indications pointing to the possibility of the visit.

“King Salman Bin Abdul-Aziz has a different political vision from that of
the late King Abdullah’s”, Basous said.

He highlighted that Saudi Arabia will receive Hamas delegation in its
capacity as a significant component of the Palestinian political system.

The news of Mishaal’s visit to Riyadh came a few days after president of
Turkey Recep Tayyip Erdogan visited Saudi Arabia and met with King Salman.

According to observers, the new King is working on changing the Saudi
internal and external policies toward Islamists.
