GAZA (Ma’an) – An Egyptian electricity line, named “Palestine” line, is
expected to resume supplying electricity to the southern Gaza Strip after
being inoperable for some two years, Gaza’s electricity company said in a
statement on Wednesday.
The company said that work crews were preparing the power line to supply
electricity to the Khan Yunis and Rafah governorates in southern Gaza.

Gaza's sole power plant, fail to cover the Gaza Strip’s energy needs, as the
usual electricity schedule alternates eight hours of power followed by eight
hours without.
