Weekly Commentary: Building Houses Better Deterrent

This morning the home of terrorist Adel Hassan Ahmad Ankoush, was blown up.

The idea is that the move will deter others.

Nothing is stopping the Palestinians from replacing the dead terrorist's
house.

This in addition to the financial rewards the dead terrorist's family
receives from the Palestinian Authority.

To be clear - I am not saying that the inconvenience of having one's house
blown up doesn't have some deterrent effect.

Just that there are better deterrents.

Build houses.

We used to call it a "Zionist response."

It is also a deterrent.

Because it sends a clear message: attacking Israelis won't weaken the
Zionist enterprise - it will strengthen it.

Rather than being heroes for attacking Israelis the terrorists are jerks
facilitating settlement construction.
