A poll carried out this Sunday through Monday by Maagar Mohot Survey
Institute (headed by Professor Yitzchak Katz) finds 41% of Israeli Jews
believe that the Peace Now movement has caused great damage to the State of
Israel while only 19% think they haven't.

While only 2% of respondents who voted for the Likud party disagreed, 33% of
Kadima voters and 48% of Labor Party voters did not agree that the Peace Now
movement has caused great damage to the State of Israel.

It would appear that many new immigrants are not familiar with the Peace Now
movement. While 36% agreed that Peace Now caused great damage and 8%
disagreed, 54% were unable to reply to the question.

The telephone poll of a representative sample of 506 adult Israeli Jews, was
commissioned by Independent Media Review & Analysis (IMRA) and has a survey
error of +/- 4.5 percentage points.

The complete result for the question:

To what extent do you agree or disagree with the claim that the Peace
Now movement has caused great damage to the State of Israel?
07% Don't agree at all
12% Don't agree
19% Total don't agree

11% So-so

13% Agree
28% Agree greatly
41% Total agree
