Israel Beitenu Head MK Lieberman: Clear Out Gaza To Huge Asylum City In
Egyptian Sinai Per Turkish Humanitarian Model
17 October 2023
The chairman of the Israel Beitenu party, MK Avigdor Lieberman, wrote on his
The UN is wrong and is misleading.
The UN call to bring humanitarian aid into Gaza, including fuel, food and
water, and the pressure on Israel is pure hypocrisy. Here are the facts:
1.I held several conversations this morning with people that are familiar
with what is currently happening in the Gaza Strip. There is no doubt that
the situation is not good, but it's far from a humanitarian crisis.
2.Any humanitarian aid brought into Gaza, under the UN umbrella, will go to
the monsters of Hamas and not to the population.
The only solution to the humanitarian issue is similar to what Turkey did at
the outbreak of the civil war in Syria, when it established a huge asylum
city funded by international entities for refugees fleeing the Assad regime.
The State of Israel must make it clear to the international community that
the only humanitarian solution, assuming it is necessary, is outside the
borders of Gaza. It is possible to establish a city of refuge in the Sinai
Peninsula, in the large areas that are empty, and provide Gazans there with
humanitarian aid. This is the only way to reduce to almost zero the risk of
harming innocent people. Therefore, now is the time to exert pressure on the
Egyptians from both the international community and from within Israel.
